About (update: 23/9/2020)

It’s becoming tradition! The third edition of ISN’s Semester Opening event “Wine, Walk, Welcome” is up and running onc (…). wait, unfortunately it is not 🙁 The circumstances and legal regulations do not allow for our traditional Semester Opening event to go on as planned, after all. Therefore, we decided to opt for our (modified, but even more fun) Plan B. Join us on an adventure to discover Vienna, meet new people and enjoy some food and drinks in a scout-like summer camp atmosphere! Don’t worry, there’s no need for any uniform, though we will prepare some typical scouting decorations and activities.

So, how is this going to work? To keep it short, we will first all meet in Prater at 18:00 (coordinates of the meeting point that you can search for on Google Maps: 48°13’02.1″N 16°23’39.4″E) and then all participants will be split into groups and receive challenges they need to solve. The challenges are mostly focused on having fun by getting to know each other and seeing some of our wonderful city. In the end, you will need to solve a challenge that will lead you to the final stop where we will all have a get-together with drinks and snacks. Do not to forget to put warm clothes on (as it gets fairly cold after the sunset), have enough battery on your phone and have a valid public transport ticket – that’s all you will need. 🙂 A prize is waiting for the winning team!

Only regular members, alumni and associate members who took part in at least one Business@ISN event during the last two semesters can take part! Do not forget to sign up for our club: https://infsysnetwork.com/registration/registration-to-infsysnetwork/.

Registration for the event is mandatory in light of Covid-19. The event is limited to 100 participants, so should this number be reached before the deadline for signing up, the registrations will be closed right away. ISN providently appoints its CEO as its Covid-19 representative who is in turn responsible for drawing up a Covid-19 prevention concept; this is only necessary and applies in case more than 50 participants sign up for the event (in accordance with Covid-19-LV Art. 10 par. 5). The event will only take place in case of good weather (i.e. no rain).

Note: the one rule whose implementation we must strictly control is that it is not allowed to dance at the get-together at any moment (as ridiculous as it sounds, this is required in accordance with Wr VeranstaltungsG (Viennese Event Act) Art. 6 par. 1, leg cit 3).

Note 2: All registrations for “Wine, Walk, Welcome” remain valid for “Scouting for Adventure”, no need to re-register.

We’re looking forward to you!

Registrations are now closed. See you on Saturday!
